What You Will Do:

  • Lead the Vendor Management Office (VMO) for complex vendor-related initiatives, monitoring performance, and ensuring alignment between needs and vendor services.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive vendor relationship management strategies in collaboration with Senior Leadership.
  • Develop, create and document a hybrid Vendor Management Office (VMO)
  • Prepare vendor scorecards on multiple parameters not limited to financial, diversity, contractual compliance, delivery, quality, and operational performance by rating the risk of doing business with supplier.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendor contacts at all levels.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with vendors to assess performance against contractual obligations using score carding.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration and innovation with key vendors.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure vendor performance.
  • Monitor vendor performance against agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Implement corrective action plans for underperforming vendors.
  • Develop Vendor management strategies in line with organization vision & mission towards sustainable procurement (Environment, Economy & Society).
  • Evaluate vendors on necessary regulatory compliances / global certifications, work closely with internal /external audit teams, so we are good to do business.
  • Develop and implement a vendor diversity program to promote supplier inclusion.
  • Identify and engage with diverse suppliers.
  • Lead and develop a high-performance vendor management team.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members

 

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Vendor Management and Procurement, working experience in Vendor Management function.
  • 5+ years of experience in Management of a team of 5 or more associates.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with Internal Stakeholder and outside suppliers
  • Previous experience working at Managed Services Provider
  • Experience in vendor relationship management, including creating and documenting VMO strategies aligning services with organizational goals and managing complex vendor initiatives
  • Team and project management
  • Competency in establishing and tracking KPIs and SLAs to measure and improve vendor performance 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing a global team
  • Critical thinking and experience in applying Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Workday experience using the Strategic Source Module
  • Matrix Management experience
