About the role and what you’ll be doing: 

Maintain and repair the facility’s structure, equipment and grounds, including plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems. Perform skilled trade work, such as carpentry or painting in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures. The Facilities Specialist works with manufacturing or process engineering in the installation or repair of building plumbing and wiring required in the production process. Additionally, make periodic or special inspections of the premise to determine repair work necessary and works from blueprints, drawings or rough sketches.

• • Support project owner on high complexity assignments.
  • Own or support on moderate to low complexity assignments.
  • Ability to understand “big picture” view.
  • Responsible for coordinating small projects.
  • Responsible for small electrical repairs.
  • Work on-call shifts.

Required Qualifications:

• Functional Knowledge of facility maintenance

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma.
• Ability to perform physical labor.
• Computer skills.
• General maintenance repair knowledge (lights, sheet rock, painting).
• Demonstrates good interpersonal and customer service skills.
