Job Summary:
Ensono’s Cloud Consultancy team is expanding to meet increasing client demand for complex, high-value cloud transformation projects, ranging from traditional lift-and-shift migrations to advanced platform modernization (VM to PaaS or serverless). We are seeking Consultants to join our AWS team, delivering thought leadership and high-quality migration solutions for enterprise clients leveraging AWS public cloud.
We are looking for an AWS Migration Engineer / Consultant to support the migration of workloads to AWS cloud environments. You will work closely with senior architects, clients, and delivery teams to execute migration projects, deploy AWS services, implement automation, and ensure smooth transitions from on‑premises to cloud.
This role is suitable for someone with extensive hands-on AWS migration experience.
Key Responsibilities
Migration & Deployment
- Support migration projects involving servers, applications, and databases from on‑premises or private cloud to AWS.
- Participate in assessment, discovery, planning, cutover, and post‑migration optimization.
- Execute re-hosting and re-platforming activities using AWS migration tools (Application Migration Service, DMS, Migration Hub, App2Container).
- Deploy, configure, and validate AWS services and infrastructure components.
Cloud Engineering & Automation
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for IaC and application deployments.
- Support creation and maintenance of reusable Terraform modules and automation scripts.
- Assist in enforcing quality and security checks (tflint, Checkov, tfsec).
Operational Support & Troubleshooting
- Assist in integration, testing, and troubleshooting of AWS workloads.
- Monitor environments using CloudWatch, X-Ray, Config, and related tools.
- Support optimization efforts for cost, performance, and security.
Documentation & Collaboration
- Prepare technical documentation, runbooks, and migration playbooks.
- Participate in client workshops and provide technical inputs when required.
- Collaborate with global delivery teams and follow established cloud best practices.
- Engage in internal learning, certifications, and capability-building initiatives.
Technical Requirements
Cloud & AWS Knowledge
- Working experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS basics).
- Understanding of AWS multi-account management, Organizations, and Control Tower (preferred).
Migration Tools & Methods
- Familiarity with at least one AWS migration tool:
- Application Migration Service
- Database Migration Service (DMS)
- Migration Hub
- App2Container
- Understanding of migration approaches (re-host, re-platform, refactor basics).
Infrastructure as Code & Automation
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, Jenkins).
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Containers & Modernization (Nice to Have)
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), or AWS serverless services like Lambda.
- Monitoring, Security & Governance
- Understanding of AWS monitoring and security tools (CloudWatch, Config, GuardDuty).
- Awareness of IAM best practices and least privilege principles.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and team members.
- Self-driven, eager to learn, and capable of working collaboratively in global teams.
- Organized and able to handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environments.
- High integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Industry Qualifications:
- 5+ years in technology consulting leadership roles.
- 4+ years in AWS technology planning and implementation, with a track record of leading large-scale AWS projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree (BE) in a related field required; Master’s Degree preferred.
Certifications:
- AWS Solutions Architect –Professional
- AWS DevOps Engineer – Associate / Professional
- HashiCorp Terraform Associate
Shift Timing
1:30 PM to 10:30 PM and 5:30 PM to 2:00 AM(Flexible to work in both the shift)
